Small grants for PhD students or postdoctoral researchers in the early stages of their careers.
An annual grant of £1,000 for a physical geography undergraduate or postgraduate student.
Grants of £500 for undergraduate or postgraduate students undertaking overseas fieldwork.
Two annual grants of £1,000 to PhD students for geographical fieldwork or data collection.
Grants of up to £2,500 for students undertaking geographical research in the Greater China region.
Running from 2001 to 2022, the Slawson Awards supported PhD students researching development issues with high social and economic importance.
