We have nine regional branches across England, Northern Ireland and Wales, which are managed by groups of local volunteers. We also have international branches based in Hong Kong and Singapore, developed by local Fellows.
Our regional committees organise a large range of popular lectures, debates and field trips outside London, making an important contribution to the Society’s reach and role as a national organisation. Most events are open to both Society members and the general public, and you do not have to live locally to attend.
If you’re looking for a way to support geography and the Society, why not join your regional committee and get involved in organising events and activities in your area? All of the regional committees welcome new faces and the new ideas they bring.
