The Education Centre was originally the drawing room of Lowther Lodge when it was a family home before becoming our Map Room for 90 years.
The Map Room is part of the Society's neo-classical extension, which was commissioned in 1930. Its proportions mirror those of the original Lowther Lodge, built in the 1870s.
The Main Hall is part of the original family home and had been used by the Lowther family as a reception area and ballroom.
The Sunley Room is ideal for small meetings and is often hired with the Drayson Room to provide a separate break out or catering area.

Originally Lady Wesleydale's bedroom, and later part of the Society's library, the Lowther Room is ideal for small quiet meetings.
The Council Room has been used for the Society's Council meetings since 1930.
