The provisional programme for this year’s Annual International Conference is now live.
Many of the sessions engage with the Chair’s theme, Geographies of trouble/ geographies of hope, while others cover the breadth of the discipline. This year’s programme highlights include the Chair’s plenary lectures, which feature debates on troubling geography and neuroscience, engaging with the troubles of ecological belonging, and geographies of blackness in the US and UK.
Our Annual International Conference is the largest annual academic geography conference in Europe, with over 1,800 delegates from 60 countries taking part in close to 400 sessions. This year’s conference will be held at the Society in London from Tuesday 27 to Friday 30 August.
