Professor Antony Orme was an international expert on geomorphology, specialising in coastal environments. He served in UCLA’s Department of Geography for nearly 50 years, and was a Director of the UC White Mountain Research Centre from 2012 to 2016.
Professor Orme was a Fellow of the Society for over 25 years and an Honorary Fellow of the British Society for Geomorphology, Founders’ Medal winner and Frost Lecturer, and member of the British Geomorphological Research Group.
