This International Women’s Day, inspired by last year’s successful #IWDgeographers campaign and the Gender and Feminist Geographies Research Group’s 100+ project, the Society would like you to name a woman or women who have inspired you geographically, and tell us why! This year, we are particularly keen to recognise and celebrate the work done by international female geographers and those working in geography. Whose scholarship inspires you?
To take part tomorrow, post on our Twitter feed with their name and why they’ve inspired you, using the hashtag #IWDgeographers and tagging their @handle as appropriate. You can even take a photo of yourself or record a short video about your inspirational woman if you like.
