The panel of expert judges for this year’s Earth Photo competition has been announced.
Earth Photo is an innovative competition and exhibition, developed jointly with the Forestry Commission, which aims to enable a better understanding of the world around us. Open to photographers of all experiences and ages, entries must describe one of the following themes: people, place, nature and changing forests. Entries must have been completed since 1 January 2018 and entrants may submit up to 10 photographs or films.
Chaired by award-winning photographer Marissa Roth, the judging panel also includes photographer and author of The Noise of Ice: Antarctica Enzo Barracco; Collections and Exhibitors Coordinator at the Museum of Photographic Arts, San Diego, California Karen Noble; award-winning landscape photographer Simon Norfolk; Editor of Geographical magazine, Paul Presley; Director General of the Royal Photographic Society, Michael Pritchard; and documentary story teller and photographer James Whitlow Delano.
The panel will select one overall winner, as well as a winner for each topic. Shortlisted images and films will be displayed in our Pavilion between 6 July and 22 August.
