Geography Directions, the Society’s blog linked to our scholarly journals, is calling for contributions that bring a geographical lens to the current coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, as well as pieces that consider the future, and the world, after the pandemic.
Submissions should be underpinned by research, written for an informed audience and include suggestions for further reading, preferably some of these should come from the Society’s journals, book series, WIRES Climate change, or Geography Compass. Both short (600 word) and longer (1,200 word) submissions are welcomed.
Content from other sites that fits these criteria and highlights the significance and importance of geographical research may also be re-blogged by Geography Directions. If you have written for another site, please do get in touch.
Submissions should be emailed to journals@rgs.org with ‘Geography Directions submission’ followed by the title of the submission in the subject heading. Find out more about how to submit.
