The Society is looking to revive our Urban Geography Research Group this summer and we are seeking enthusiastic urban geographers to join the new committee to take the group forward.
Our Urban Geography Research Group is one of the oldest and largest of the Society’s Research Groups. Spanning the whole of urban geography, it has hosted lively events and discussion, offered a dissertation prize, published book reviews, sponsored sessions and delegates at our annual conference, and much more.
We are holding an online Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the group on Thursday 10 September, between 1.00pm and 3.00pm BST, chaired by Professor Peter Kraftl (RGS-IBG Honorary Secretary for Research and Higher Education). The main business of the meeting will be to elect a new committee for the group, and to put together a plan of activities for the group for the coming academic year.
