With Christmas just around the corner, Society membership is the ideal gift for the geographer in your life. For anyone fascinated by our planet’s people, places and environments, the benefits of gift membership are many.
Whether it’s the support of an international community of geographers, a wealth of resources and online lectures, or access to hundreds of stimulating events across the UK, the Society is an environment where geographers thrive.
For those who want to stay informed about contemporary geographical issues, such as climate change, migration and sustainable development, or have an interest in informed travel, Ordinary Membership is the ideal choice. As a member you can attend our Monday night lectures and catch up with previous lectures online. You will also receive Geographical each month – our wide-ranging magazine that focuses on geographical stories from around the world.
For the next generation, Young Geographer is perfect for inspiring a love of geography, while also supporting school or university studies. This membership includes access to all of our online learning resources, as well as expert advice and support for planning fieldwork projects. As with all memberships, Young Geographers also gain access to our amazing events where you can meet like-minded people and make valuable contacts within the world of geography.
Ordinary Membership costs £145 for a year’s subscription and is open to everyone.
Young Geographer starts from £47, and is available for 14 to 24 year olds. Young Geographer can be purchased as one, two or three year options.
