Inflexion Foundation partner with Society

We are delighted to announce that the Inflexion Foundation have partnered with the Society as a new Corporate Benefactor to support our work to widen access to geography and to engage public audiences with key environmental and sustainability topics.

The Inflexion Foundation’s initial three-year support will focus on two key areas of our work with the geographical community:

• Our Geography for all programme, working with colleagues and organisations across the discipline to improve equality, diversity and inclusion in geography at school, with a focus on under-representation by income and ethnicity.

• Our Earth Stories initiative, developing new approaches to communicate about sustainability by connecting leading climate, biodiversity and sustainability specialists with key media industry figures, as well as top creative talent to improve and enable public understanding of this important subject.

The Inflexion Foundation is the formalised charitable giving programme of Inflexion Private Equity and supports a broad range of charitable endeavours, including those with a particular focus on improving the prospects of young people. This new partnership reflects Inflexion’s commitment to responsible investment and recognition of the fundamental importance of sustainability.
