The Society has launched a new series of educational podcasts that include interviews and case studies based on the latest geographical research.
The podcasts, which are released twice a month, cover topics relevant to the GCSE and A Level geography curricula, and feature original research from higher education institutions.
Steve Brace, the Society’s Head of Education and Outdoor Learning said, “The interviews with leading researchers are an ideal way for teachers and students to update and extend their geographical subject knowledge.”
Topics already covered by the series include extreme weather in the UK, food security and gentrification in global cities. Future podcasts will feature mapping populations and displacement, and super-diversity and ordinary streets.
