Research Group undergraduate dissertation prizes open for submissions

The annual undergraduate dissertation prizes, awarded by many of our Research Groups to recognise outstanding student research, are now open for submissions.

The 24 prizes span the breadth of geography and emphasise originality of thought, quality of research and excellence in presentation. We encourage university geography departments to browse the full list of prizes and nominate students before the deadline of Thursday 15 July.

Interested in learning a little more about our prize winners?

We have recently made our archive of past recipients, close to 500 students from over 50 institutions, publicly available, so you can now view the full list dating back over 20 years.

A number of our Research Groups have also published interviews with their respective prize winners, showcasing their research and how they have drawn on the skills, knowledge and experience gained postgraduation. Take a look at a few highlights:
