Professor Andy Large and Dr Andy Henderson discuss the Living Deltas hub, an organisation with well over 100 international scientists working to create a sustainable delta system for the 500 million people who live on them across the world. Throughout the twenty-first century both deltaic population and population density have been increasing, on a landform which only accounts for 1% of global land cover. These communities now face multiple unprecedented threats, made worse by global climate changes.
