Steve Brace's presentation at the Geographical Association conference 2022
At the Geographical Association Conference 2022, the Society's Head of Education and Outdoor Learning - Steve Brace - presented 'Experiencing Geography'. His presentation detailed the research the Society has done with young people to discover their motivations behind studying (or not studying) geography, and also the experiences of BAME teachers and trainee teachers in the workplace. He also discussed the geography of geography - who is studying geography and where does it take them.
