The privacy and security of your personal information is extremely important to us and as an organisation we work hard to meet strict regulatory requirements.
Fundraising, donations and gifts
The Society receives no government funding for charitable work and, as a registered charity, we rely on donations from a range of sources, including trusts, foundations and individuals, to support our activities.
We use a variety of research techniques to help better understand our existing and potential future donors, what information they would like to receive from us and their preferred methods of communication. We use the results of this research to build up a profile of interests and to personalise communications so we can offer engaging content that is of relevance and inspiring to individuals. We also want to reduce the risk of anyone receiving information that is not relevant, and ensure that we can be cost effective and efficient with our resources to maximise impact.
We do not use any data that we believe has not been lawfully or ethically sourced, or sources which have not been broadcast or made public. We do not use wealth screening companies to analyse our data.
