The Society’s 2017 Annual International Conference will be held at the Society, London, from Tuesday 29 August to Friday 1 September. We are pleased to announce that the call for session and paper proposals is now open.
A key event in the Society’s calendar, the Annual International Conference is the largest annual academic geography conference in Europe, with over 1,800 delegates from 60 countries taking part in close to 400 academic sessions.
We invite proposals for sessions, papers and posters from all members of the geographical and related communities.

The conference will be chaired by Professor Sarah Radcliffe (University of Cambridge). The Chair’s theme is Decolonising geographical knowledges: opening geography out to the world. We welcome sessions and papers which engage directly with this theme, as well as others focusing on all areas of geography.
