Jo Little, Professor of Gender and Geography at the University of Exeter, and co-Editor of Transactions of the Institute of British Geographers, will participate in a free webinar on gender and women’s rights on Thursday 10 March.
This webinar will explore forms of discrimination that occur in contemporary society worldwide. Jo will join other panellists from across the social sciences and humanities to discuss a wide range of issues surrounding women’s rights, including women’s participation in politics; violence directed at women; unpaid care workloads; and access to equal educations across all geographies, classes, races and ethnicities; and cis and transgender rights.
The webinar is free, and there will be the opportunity to ask questions. Register online to join the discussion. The webinar will start at 19.00 (GMT) on Thursday 10 March.
