The Society is delighted to announce the speakers for the Geographical journeys: microlectures event this March – a night of inspirational tales of adventure and discovery from the next generation of travellers.
Join us on Wednesday 22 March for an evening packed with illustrated short talks on adventure and discovery to entertain and inspire, hosted by anthropologist and broadcaster Mary-Ann Ochota FRGS and organised by the RGS-IBG Younger Members’ Committee.
This is your chance to see the next generation of travellers share their stories of a recent journey with a geographical purpose. Each talk will be unique and provide the chance to learn something new about the world.

- Running Malawi: a journey through the ‘warm heart of Africa’ by Brendan Rendall
- My life in Outer Mongolia: step by steppe by Stephanie Hadik
