The latest cohort of professionals to be recognised for their use of geographical skills and knowledge in the workplace have been officially awarded Chartered Geographer status by the Society.
The network of Chartered Geographers (CGeogs) now stands at over 650, with those most recently accredited including employees of WSP and Parsons Brinckerhoff, Ordnance Survey, UCL, and Mott MacDonald. Chartered Geographer is the leading accreditation for geographers worldwide.
CGeogs are experts in diverse fields and demonstrate competence, experience and professionalism in the use of geographical knowledge, understanding and skills in the workplace whether that’s an environmental consultancy, national mapping agency or school.
All professional geographers are welcome to attend the evening, which is an informal networking drinks, with the opportunity to attend the Monday night lecture afterwards.
Find out more and confirm your attendance by emailing cgeog@rgs.org.
