Lynne Anderson in Utah (c) Lynne Anderson
After a delay of over two years due to the pandemic, the Society’s most recent Journey of a Lifetime Award winner, Lynne Anderson, travelled to Salt Lake City, USA, in April this year to undertake a unique journey of personal significance.
At the age of 21, Lynne served as a Mormon missionary in the city. This year, 21 years on, she returned with a different perspective and outlook to revisit her past experiences, and explore the landscapes and nature of Utah’s national parks and the sense of spiritual peace that these provide.
Tune in to BBC Radio 4 today at 4.00pm to hear Lynne tell the story of her Journey of a Lifetime. You can listen again any time after the broadcast here.
To read more about Lynne’s journey in her own words, see our recent Q&A.
Do you have a passion for storytelling and a personal journey you have always wanted to make? You could receive £5,000 to make your Journey of a Lifetime and record it for your own BBC Radio 4 programme.
