Brexit! The Urban and Regional Implications is a free workshop which will discuss the potential economic consequences of Brexit for both regions and cities across the UK.
Co-sponsored by our Economic Geography Research Group and organised by the Cities Research Group, based at Cardiff University, the workshop will bring together a number of academics from across the public and private sectors to explore potential strategies for mediating the economic consequences of Brexit.
Speakers at the workshop will include: Philip McCann, Professor of Urban and Regional Economics from the University of Sheffield; Anne Green, Professor of Regional Economic Development from the University of Birmingham; Councillor Huw Thomas from Cardiff City Council; and Dr Rachel Minto, Research Associate on Brexit and UK devolved politics from Cardiff University.
