Harriet and Rob collaborate through their practice somewhere-nowhere, bringing more than three decades of experience of writing, photography and research to their exploration of the nature and culture of place. They combine walking practice with field research and rigorous interviews to enquire into, and share, multiple elements that shape rural landscapes. They work alongside environmental scientists, land managers and farmers, and curate artful conversations in outdoor settings about the challenges of collective, positive change. They were awarded the Society's 2023 Cherry Kearton medal and award for their transdisciplinary work in rural areas.
