We are delighted to announce the appointment of three new editorial board members for the Society’s book series.
Dr Alex Jeffrey, Reader in Human Geography at the University of Cambridge, Professor Beverley Mullings, Associate Professor of Geography at Queen’s University, Canada, and Professor Chih Yuan Woon, Associate Professor of Geography at the National University of Singapore joined the editorial board at the beginning of the year.
They join Professor Anna Davies of Trinity College Dublin, Professor Deborah Dixon of the University of Glasgow, Professor Sandy Harrison of the University of Reading, Professor Alex Hughes of Newcastle University, Professor David Jordhus-Lier of the University of Oslo, Professor Kevin Rhiney of Rutgers University, and Professor Stephen Rice of Loughborough University, who also serve on the board. The book series is edited by Dr David Featherstone of the University of Glasgow.
The series benefits enormously from the engaged feedback, insights, and strategic contributions offered by the editorial board and the Society would like to thank our outgoing board members Professor Philip Kelly, Professor Sarah Holloway, and Professor Eugene McCann for their significant and sustained intellectual contributions to the book series over their terms.
Launched in 2000, the RGS-IBG book series publishes work of the highest international standing. Focused on distinctive new developments in human and physical geography, contributions are expected to inform, challenge and stimulate the reader.
