We are delighted to announce the appointment of a new editorial team for our open access academic journal Geo: Geography and Environment. The new team consists of Dr Laurie Parsons (Royal Holloway, University of London), Dr Karen Bickerstaff (University of Exeter), Dr Christopher Darvill (University of Manchester), and Dr Yu Le (Tsinghua University).
We look forward to working with the new team as they build on Geo’s strengths in publishing innovative and interdisciplinary papers focused on key issues around the environment, climate, and sustainable development from across geography and related disciplines. The new editorial team will shortly be setting out their vision for the journal in an editorial, and will also reshape the editorial board to help steer the journal in due course.
We would also like to thank Geo’s outgoing editorial team, Prof Rosie Cox (Birkbeck, University of London), Prof Sarah Davies (Aberystwyth University), and Prof David Demeritt (King’s College London) who have managed the journal throughout a difficult period over the last three years.
Our academic journals are internationally recognised and provide an outlet and support for the dissemination of high-quality research across the breadth of geography.
