Over the last year, the Society’s 31 Research Groups have undertaken a wealth of activities, including events to share emerging research, provide support for early-career and postgraduate members, and facilitate teaching and learning across different areas of the discipline.
They have also produced digital resources including blog posts, book reviews, and newsletters, alongside running networks, book and writing clubs, and activities to provide career support to their members such as mentoring schemes.

In 2022, we welcomed over a thousand students to the Society from over 25 institutions.

The call for papers for our Postgraduate Forum’s Mid-Term Conference, which will take place on Thursday 20 and Friday 21 April 2023, is now open.
