Our next lecture exclusively for School Members is on the carbon cycle and takes place on 6 February at 5.00pm.
In this lecture, Professor Jeremy Pritchard from the University of Birmingham will discuss the carbon cycle, and draw upon his own research on plant biology and ecology.
The content of this lecture is best suited to A Level pupils, although GCSE pupils are welcome to attend.
This event is for School Members only – book now.
If you missed our last School Member lecture on hazard management, you can watch the whole talk online. Dr Amy Donovan is an interdisciplinary researcher interested in the use of scientific advice in decision making on active volcanoes. In this lecture she discusses the importance of understanding interactions between human and physical environments. And you may have seen her talking about some of her research into volcano tourism in the media last month.
